About the role:
Carinity -Talerahave an exciting opportunityfor an enthusiastic Child and Family Therapist to join the team.This role provides quality therapeutic and resourcing interventions for children/young people and families referred to Carinity Communities Programs.
In this role you will utilise a team-oriented case management approach to strengthen family relationships, enhance children's safety/wellbeing and develop supporting networks within the community.
These roles require ***** hours each fortnight, worked Monday to Thursday between 9:00 AM and 5:30 PM (must be available on Wednesdays).
What do I need for the role?
Minimum 4+ years specialist counselling experience supporting children/young people and their families in relation to domestic and family violence, child abuse, neglect, and attachment and trauma
Demonstrated knowledge and experience in risk assessment and safety planning where domestic and family violence is an issue
Tertiary qualification/s in psychology/social work/counselling or similar relevant discipline
Hold a current Suitability for Working with Children card (Blue Card)
