About The Role
We're on the hunt for an eager, self-driven Research & Development (R&D;) Consultant that does not hold back when it comes to bold ideas and new ways to improve outcomes for our clients.

What you'll be working on
Onboarding new clients and collecting relevant data from their staff and existing platforms
Development of R&D; strategies, forecasts & budgets
Liaising with your client portfolio and maintaining strong working relationships with your clients
Working directly with clients for optimal results
Educating clients and their teams on best R&D; practices and procedures
Financial and expense audits
Technical and theoretical research
Preparation of other government grants, such as the Industry Growth Program (IGP)
and Export Market Development Grant (EMDG)
Writing complete Research & Development Tax Incentive applications
Assisting with the development of internal workflows and processes for streamlining client reporting, analytics, and engagement
Qualifications & Experience
A tertiary qualification in Commerce, Science, Engineering or Mathematics
Sound understanding of the Research & Development Tax Incentive and the Income Tax Assessment Act **** (ITAA ****)
Strong knowledge and understanding of RDTI Guide to Interpretation
Technical writing experience
Experience managing R&D; Tax Incentive claims and supporting documentation
Experience in Industry Growth Program (IGP) Grants and Export Market Development Grants (EMDG) is preferential but not essential
Solid research and analytical skills with the ability to identify opportunities and areas of improvement
Experience with Xero and other accounting software platforms
Intermediate experience of Microsoft Excel
Excellent communication skills
Strong time management with the ability to meet strict deadlines
Ability to work both autonomously and within a growing team
Have a curiosity for innovation and technological advancements
