RN - Moranbah Hospital - Acute / Emergency
Moranbah Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join its Acute and Emergency Department on a six-week contract from 21 September to 1 November ****. This is a Grade 5 position offering $***** to $***** per hour, with rotating 8 and 12-hour shifts across up to 80 hours per fortnight. The successful candidate will bring solid emergency nursing skills and rural healthcare experience to a dynamic, fast-paced clinical environment in regional Queensland.
Six-week contract role in Acute and Emergency, with flexible shift patterns and competitive hourly rates

Preferred Requirements




Demonstrated experience in emergency nursing with proven clinical competence in acute care settings
Solid background in rural nursing practice and familiarity with rural healthcare delivery
Proficiency with electronic medical record systems, particularly ieMR, FirstNet, PowerChart, and HBCIS
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse with an unrestricted licence
Strong communication and teamwork skills in a high-acuity environment
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification with current AHPRA registration
Previous experience working within Queensland Health or Mackay Hospital and Health Service
Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification or willingness to obtain it
