About the Role
Female Staff Worker
FOCUS Military Ministry is seeking a full-time trained ministry worker for the Australian Defence Force Academy (ADFA) Canberra, with a particular focus on female Trainee Officers.
Why ADFA matters:
It's the prime training base for career ADF officers.
Trainee Officers (TOs) spend 3–4 years there combining military training with a UNSW degree.
This mix of academic and military life gives unusual openness to the gospel among young men and women who will become the Defence Force's future leaders.
Role:
Joins an AFES-affiliate team of 1 full-time + 3 part-time staff.
Responsibilities
:
One-to-one and small group gospel conversations & bible studies
Writing/leading Bible studies and training courses
Mentoring TOs, integrating them into local churches
Camps and conferences
