We are on the lookout for an ambitious diesel technician who is a leader! This role would also suit an auto-electrician or dual-trade qualified technician with ambitions to lead, with a drive for success and the commercial aptitude to develop business. Someone who turns up! This opportunity will suit an experienced technician with technical product aptitude and hands‐on experience with product and people; this is an opportunity to build a service function and team for someone not afraid to perform high-level technical repairs, new machine installations, and breakdown response, staying sharp and with the chance to travel across Queensland.
About the role
This newly created position offers an experienced technician a balance between office-based Service Manager responsibilities with technical product support, along with hands‐on work building the service function and team. The role involves performing high-level technical repairs, new machine installations, and breakdown response, with the opportunity to travel across Queensland. You will be a pivotal player in defining the ever evolving Oceania Power team, and reshaping the industry through supporting the Industrial and Marine Service Market segment from a technical and parts perspective whilst developing and implementing power solutions of the future.
Key responsibilities
Lead and develop Service and Parts teams.
Perform high-level technical repairs and new machine installations
Respond to breakdown calls and maintain technical sharpness
Build and develop the service function and team
Provide technical product support




Support the dealer network and business partners delivering customer success across engines, propulsion, parts and equipment
Develop and implement power solutions
Travel across Queensland and PNG as required
Support the roll out of electro‐mobility technologies
