Lead a team of BA and/or Architects within a critical Cyber Security Program as the strategic mind behind business analysis and architecture. This is a rare chance for a large Cyber Program of work.
THE ROLE
Our client is seeking a Lead Business Analyst / Lead Architect (Cyber Security) to provide strategic leadership across a complex, multi-initiative Cyber Security Program. Based in Brisbane, this is a long term contract where you will be owning the business analysis framework, driving governance and assurance, and leading a team of BAs and/or Architects. You'll work closely with program managers, cyber specialists, change resources and technical delivery teams to ensure cyber initiatives land with real business impact.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Lead business analysis and/or architecture activities across multiple concurrent cyber security initiatives;
Establish, own and continuously improve the program's BA framework, standards, templates and artefacts;
Provide governance and assurance over business requirements, ensuring traceability and alignment to program objectives;
Lead business capability modelling, process architecture and future operating model development;
Mentor and support business analysts across the program, including resource planning and workload prioritisation;
Engage and advise executives,
operational stakeholders and technical delivery teams on business impacts and dependencies;
Support operational transition, business readiness and benefits realisation activities.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
Demonstrated experience leading BA and/or Solution Architecture activities across large, complex transformation programs;
Strong governance and assurance capability across business analysis practices;
Proven ability to develop future-state operating models, business processes and requirements;
Experience leading a
small team of BAs and/or Architects
within a project/program of work;
Solid understanding of Cyber security disciplines:
GRC

IDM
,
SoC
,
Supply Chain Risk
and/or
Essential 8
;
Excellent stakeholder engagement, facilitation and communication skills across business and technical audiences.
NICE TO HAVE
Experience working within Queensland Government or other highly regulated environments;
Background establishing BA frameworks and standards in complex program or portfolio environments;
IIBA, CBAP, CCBA or ECBA certification;
Agile Business Analysis certification and/or Architect certification/framework;
Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, Visio and Microsoft 365.
