Job Description
You'll lead a high-impact facilities maintenance function that supports the safety, reliability and performance of the City's buildings. This role combines operational leadership, contract management, budget oversight and stakeholder engagement across a diverse portfolio of community facilities.
If you enjoy solving complex maintenance challenges, developing capable teams and improving service outcomes for the community, this is an opportunity to make a visible contribution every day.
What You'll Be Doing
Lead reactive and renewal maintenance programs
Manage facility maintenance contracts and contractors
Develop budgets, programs and work scopes
Monitor expenditure, performance and service levels
Support building inspections and maintenance planning
Lead, coach and develop your team
Manage permits, compliance and WHS requirements
Strengthen systems, records and service processes
We're looking for a facilities maintenance leader with sound technical judgement,



strong contract management capability and a practical approach to leading people and improving services. You'll ideally bring:
Facilities management qualification or related experience
Solid facility maintenance and building knowledge
Proven contract management and administration skills
Strong budgeting and financial management capability
Effective leadership and supervisory skills
Sound negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills
Current driver's licence and police clearance
