Forklift Operator Morning Shift 4am start (Temperature-Controlled)

About the role
We're looking for an experienced forklift operator to join our SYD depot on an
morning shift, Monday to Friday (4:00am start)
. You'll be working across our temperature-controlled docks (
0–4°C
) handling chilled freight, so previous cold-chain experience is essential. This is a hands‐on role for someone who can run their own dock, work unsupervised, and keep freight moving accurately and on time.
What you'll be doing
Loading and unloading trucks across temperature-controlled docks (0–4°C)
Consolidating and configuring freight for
trucks & trailer loads
, both inbound and outbound
Loading B-doubles, singles etc with correct weight distribution and load planning
Handling LTL (less-than-truckload) temperature-controlled freight
Checking, scanning and staging freight accurately




Working independently to meet shift cut-off times
Keeping the dock safe, clean and organised
What you'll need
Previous experience in a cold / temperature-controlled environment (essential)
Proven experience loading, unloading and consolidating temperature-controlled freight
Current forklift licence (LF)
Confidence working unsupervised and managing your own workload
Available and willing to work overtime
Reliable, safety-focused and committed to afternoon shifts
