Expertech is exclusively partnering with a leading creative technology organisation to recruit a Data & Insights Engineer. This is a newly important role focused on turning complex operational data into explicit, trusted insights that help production, finance and leadership make better decisions.
You'll own the data layer that makes production data useful, bringing together information from multiple business systems, building robust data models and semantic definitions, and delivering insights through curated dashboards and reporting.
The core of the role is SQL, data modelling, data insights and AWS.
This is not a pure reporting or dashboard role. You'll work hands-on with SQL and dbt, managed ELT, warehouse modelling and AWS, while also being expected to interrogate the data, identify trends and anomalies, and proactively tell stakeholders what the numbers mean.
If you enjoy going beyond "here is the data" to answering "so what, and what should we do about it?", this is an opportunity to have genuine impact.
