We're now seeking a proactive, safety-focused Service Delivery Controller to join our Integrated Planning Services – Day of Operations team on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
This is a critical operational role where you'll manage live train services, coordinate crews and assets, and respond to real-time challenges to ensure services run safely and on schedule.
What You'll Do
We have two positions available on maximum-term contracts of up to 12 months.
Monitoring live train services and ensuring schedules are executed efficiently and safely
Managing operational disruptions and minimising impacts on service delivery
Coordinating train crew and assets to meet changing operational demands
Providing timely and accurate information to internal teams and external stakeholders
Maintaining operational systems and holding network providers accountable to the plan
What You'll Bring




Safety-focused mindset and availability for 12-hour rotating shifts (days, nights, weekends and public holidays)
Experience in logistics, transport or operational control environments (preferred)
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, shift-based operation
Clear and confident communication skills (written and verbal)
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking capability
Good time management and prioritisation skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence outcomes across stakeholders
