Job Description
Availability to work Full Time hours Monday to Friday as required during the school term and straight shifts during vacation care.

Your Impact
As an Educational Leader at Assistant Manager level,
you will play an important role in leading practice and supporting educators to deliver high-quality, child-centred experiences.
Your leadership will include:
Coaching and mentoring educators to build confidence, consistency and quality in their practice
Modelling strong practice and providing practical, reflective guidance on the floor
Supporting educators to reflect on how they engage with children and respond to children's play
Encouraging environments that promote choice, creativity, outdoor play and active play
Supporting educators to use risk-benefit thinking while maintaining solid supervision and child-safe practices
Providing constructive feedback and helping educators develop their professional practice
Contributing to a positive service culture where children are respected, capable and heard
Working collaboratively with the leadership team to maintain compliance and exceeding practices
Building solid relationships with children, families, educators and school representatives
Your excellent communication, relationship management and leadership skills will be key to your success.
Above all, your genuine interest in supporting both children and educators to grow, learn and realise their potential will have a lasting impact.
About You
We'd love to hear from you if you:
Have a Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
Have previous leadership or team-leading experience
Have experience supporting educators through coaching, mentoring or professional guidance
Have a strong understanding of child-led play, children's agency and play-based practice
Are passionate about creating environments where children have genuine choice and opportunities to lead their own play
Are confident reflecting on practice, giving feedback and supporting educators to improve
Have experience managing compliance and administrative requirements
Are calm, approachable, reflective and confident in a fast-paced OSHC environment
Are a team player with a creative, energetic and relational approach
Have valid compliance certificates (e.g. WWCC, Child Protection, First Aid etc.)
