About the Role
Service Stream's Utilities division are currently seeking an experienced HSE Business Partner to join our Team.
Reporting directly to the HSE Manager - Gas Operations, you will be responsible for the prevention of injuries and illness by partnering with local business management and workers to maintain a healthy and safe workplace.
Based in Melbourne, VIC this position is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate.
Nature of position: Permanent, Full Time Location: Clayton, VIC Reporting Line: HSE Manager - Gas Operations
Key Responsibilities
Providing support to our VIC Utilities gas project teams to ensure our company meets its Safety, Environment, Quality and client obligations
Providing specialist HSE advice and support to the business
Coaching and advising management and workers on meeting their work health and safety duties
Supporting management and workers in the implementation of HSE policies, systems, programs, and initiatives and meeting local legislative requirements
Promoting a safe and positive work culture and role model safety leadership principles
Project field work, critical control effectiveness and investigations, verifying HSE management plans
Assist business management in continually improving the company's risk management capabilities
About you
Demonstrated experience in an HSE role with a robust quality background, highly regarded
Working knowledge of Legislation,



Standards and Codes and ISO ****, ISO *****, ISO ***** and AS **** standards
Prior experience managing HSE requirements on major engineering or construction projects, with a strong track record in working effectively with project contractors is highly regarded
Experience in auditing, investigation and environmental reporting
Excellent communication and people management skills
Gas, power, heavy industry or other utilities industry experience desirable
Relevant qualification in WHS/OH&S; and / or Environment or Engineering/Science
Cert IV in Training and Assessment is desirable
