We are seeking a skilled, motivated and well-presented Registered Nurse to join our friendly and supportive medical centre located in Harris Park. This position is available on a Part-Time or Full-Time basis and would suit a Registered Nurse who is organised, reliable and confident working within a busy general practice environment. Reporting to the Practice Manager and working closely with our doctors and administrative team, you will assist in managing the treatment room and provide high-quality nursing care and exceptional service to our patients.
Key responsibilities
Triaging patients and assisting with clinical assessments
Wound care, dressings and wound management
Administering immunisations and vaccinations
Conducting health checks and other general practice nursing duties
Assisting doctors with procedures and patient care as required
Managing and maintaining the treatment room
Responding to general patient enquiries
Booking and coordinating patient appointments




Assisting with telephone reception duties when required
Coordinating appointments between doctors, allied health professionals and patients
About you
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent patient care and customer service skills
Good organisational and time-management skills
Basic computer skills and the ability to learn practice software
A professional, reliable and motivated approach to workThe ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
Previous experience in general practice or a medical centre is desirable but not essential
