Secondary School Tutors Wanted (Sydney Campus)
Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions (maximum 2 students) to Year 7–Year 12 students. Teach students according to NSW Curriculum and NESA syllabus requirements across subjects including HSC English, EAL/D English, English Advanced, Secondary English, Science, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Modern History, and Mathematics (Advanced & Extension 1-2).
Key responsibilities
Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions (maximum 2 students)
Teach students according to NSW Curriculum and NESA syllabus requirements
Prepare lesson materials, class notes, and weekly homework (resources may also be provided from SEDI's teaching database)
Support students through structured lessons, exam preparation, and targeted feedback
Communicate with the academic team regarding student progress and learning plans
About you
Robust knowledge and understanding of one or more subjects listed above
Familiarity with NSW Curriculum and HSC syllabus requirements is highly preferred
Previous tutoring or teaching experience is preferred




Excellent English communication skills with the ability to explain concepts clearly
Strong reading, writing, and analytical skills
Responsible, organised, and committed to student improvement
