THE ROLE
We are seeking an Enrolment and Accounts Officer to join Banksia Cottage Early Learning Centre at Macquarie University. This is a fixed term, part-time position (30 hours per week, Monday through Friday).
The Enrolment and Accounts Officer will be based at Banksia Cottage and work collaboratively with the Centre Manager and the Early Learning Administration and Management team. The centre is conveniently located on campus and within walking distance. Please note, this role does not involve working directly with children.
Reporting to the Centre Manager, you will provide high-quality administrative support to ensure smooth and efficient enrolment processes and accurate accounts management for families attending the centre. You will maintain compliance with regulatory and organisational requirements while delivering exceptional customer service.
We are looking for someone who:
Has proven experience providing administrative support in an early learning environment or similar.
Is highly organised with exceptional attention to detail and records management.
Demonstrates strong time management and clear, professional communication skills.
Is proactive, adaptable, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
Builds positive, qualified relationships with families, colleagues, and other stakeholders.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform key tasks including maintaining family accounts, processing enrolments, managing the waitlist and proactively supporting occupancy growth
Act as the first point of contact for enrolment and account related enquiries, providing accurate information and timely communication, and resolving or escalating issues as appropriate
Deliver a range of administrative and support services to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the centre
Perform general administrative duties such as records management, filing, managing email inboxes, website management, ordering stock and supplies, preparing, updating, and distributing documents
Build and maintain robust, professional relationships with key stakeholders, including families, third-party providers, and the Early Learning Team
Ensure compliance with National Quality Framework, Government funding (such as Child Care Subsidy, Inclusion Support and Start Strong Funding and Campus Life policies and procedure
Actively support and contribute to all diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives
