Leading Hand Operator - Material Recovery Facility

Monday to Friday rotating roster
Early starts from 5:00am to 8:00am, with shifts up to 8 hours per day
Every second Saturday is required - Sundays and weekly overtime occasionally available

What you'll be doing
Operating plant equipment such as Balers, Forklift and Front-End Loader are essential.
Handling and moving recyclable materials across the facility
Loading/unloading recyclables, stockpiling, and processing materials
Reviewing production and meeting production targets
Identify and resolve basic mechanical issues
Scheduling rosters for the team
Take on inherent admin duties
What you'll bring
Baler operation, Forklift and Front-End Loader license and experience are essential
Proven supervisory or leading hand experience is preferred
Hands‐on experience as a plant operator; landfill or recycling facility is preferred
Working knowledge of computer applications
Willingness to work in a hands‐on environment
Positive, team‐oriented attitude and commitment to safety
