The Role
Reporting into an entrepreneurial CEO, your duties as the Financial Controller will be broad and varied. This will include:
Managing the full accounting function, including month-end, year-end, financial statements and compliance
Manage process improvement initiatives, including strengthening reporting, budgeting and forecasting processes
Ensure compliance with IFRS standards and local tax - prepare taxes,



including GST, PAYG, FBT, and corporate income tax returns
Manage the budgeting, forecasting and analytical processes
Manage a small offshore finance team
Develop key relationships internally to better integrate finance and operations
Work with business leaders to develop company KPIs and manage the reporting of them
Your Background
This Financial Controller role is best suited for someone who enjoys working in a dynamic and fast-paced setting within a growing business. To be considered for this FC position, you will need to meet the following criteria:
Professionally qualified (e.g. CA, CPA, CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent)
Have established experience at the Financial Controller or Senior Finance Manager level
Proven track record of achievement in process improvement projects or systems implementation / automations is a pre-requisite
Previously worked within a high-growth business in a hands-on role
Excellent technical knowledge and experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in order to liaise confidently with stakeholders
