Job description Role Opportunity Experienced Structural Designer with Advance Steel software experience to join a well regarded local engineering consultant specialising in providing structural and mechanical solutions across diverse resource and infrastructure projects.
Benefits: Permanent staff role and market-competitive salary provided Souther suburbs based with free car parking close to the office available Working across a range of mining and resource projects Qualifications Skills Experience as a Structural Designer within mining, minerals processing, resources, or heavy industrial environments.
Proficient with structural design and modelling software such as Advance Steel, Navisworks Manage, and Autocad Experience producing structural steel and reinforced concrete design documentation.
Good understanding of mining clients drawing requirements including CAD Conformance Ability to work collaboratively within a consulting engineering environment and manage multiple project priorities.
Excellent team skills and communication Duties Responsibilities Develop detailed structural design and drafting deliverables for mining and heavy industrial projects.
Produce 3D models, general arrangements, detailed drawings, and construction packages.




Coordinate closely with Structural Engineers, Mechanical Engineers and Designers Support brownfield site upgrades, equipment replacements, remediation works, and plant modifications.
Participate in design reviews, interdisciplinary coordination, and constructability assessments.
Ensure deliverables are produced in accordance with client specifications, Australian Standards, and project requirements.
