Customer Support Officer As a Customer Support Officer, you'll be the first point of contact for many of our customers, providing friendly, professional assistance across a wide range of Council services.
You'll respond to enquiries in person, over the phone and electronically, helping to connect customers with the information and services they need while creating a positive experience with every interaction.

Is an excellent communicator who can confidently engage with a wide range of people, whether face-to-face, over the phone or in writing.
Builds positive relationships with customers and colleagues through empathy, patience and a genuine willingness to assist.
Is comfortable using computers and enjoys learning new systems and technology.
Can stay organised, manage competing priorities and remain calm in a fast-paced environment.
Takes initiative, works well as part of a team and is always willing to lend a hand.
It would be great if you also: Have previous customer service experience in a busy environment.
Have a good understanding of Council services, departments and how they work together to support our community.
Are flexible, adaptable and enjoy variety in your day.
Are curious, eager to learn and committed to continuously improving the customer experience.
