Hunter Manning has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Accountant to join an established organisation with a strong industry reputation.
This is a broad accounting role offering exposure across month-end, financial reporting, intercompany accounting, cash flow and transactional accounting.
It would suit someone with strong technical accounting foundations who is looking to continue developing their experience within an established finance team.
About the Role Working closely with the wider finance team, you'll support the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting while taking responsibility for a broad range of accounting activities.
Key duties include: Journals transactions – Preparing journal entries across revenue recognition, leases, prepayments/accruals, fixed assets, inventory, provisions and commissions Intercompany accounting – Processing and reconciling intercompany transactions and settlements General accounting reporting – Supporting P L, Balance Sheet and Cashflow reporting, including WIP and associated accounting Month-end close – Assisting with period-end journals,



adjustments and eliminations Financial reporting – Compiling internal reports and reconciling to the general ledger Master data – Maintaining finance master data and supporting data clean-up and system projects Cash flow – Supporting weekly cash flow forecasting Other – Supporting reconciliations, spend analysis and other general finance activities What We're Looking For CA, CPA or equivalent accounting qualification Solid understanding of financial accounting standards, with Australian Accounting Standards experience preferred Experience with month-end close and intercompany reconciliations Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with finance and non-finance stakeholders Full Australian working rights and currently based in Perth; overseas applicants will not be considered If this sounds like your next move, apply now or contact Khale Twomey at ****************************** for more information #SCR-khale-twomey
