Do you have what it takes to become a Smartgroup Settlements Support Officer?
Are you detail-driven and process-oriented with a knack for managing documentation and credit workflows? We're looking for a Settlements Support Officer to join our operations team, supporting the novated leasing process before and after settlement- ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency every step of the way.
This is a customer-facing role, ideal for someone who thrives in customer service, managing documentation, liaising with internal teams and external stakeholders, and ensuring all settlement processes are completed to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities
Attend to both inbound and outbound customer calls and emails
Various key administrative activities, including to support a customer centric Settlements Team

Liaise with customers, financiers, employers,



and dealers to ensure documentation is complete and compliant as required
Timely, accurate and high-quality customer service to all internal and external
Ensure all data entry and system updates are accurate and aligned with compliance
Identifying queries which require additional attention and provide feedback
Supporting and liaising with internal teams to solve customer queries
What you will bring:
1+ year experience in finance, or compliance-based role
Proven Customer Service experience and ability
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Familiarity with credit application processes or leasing documentation (preferred)
Solid written communication skills and ability to work independently
Comfortable working in a structured, process-driven environment
Proficiency with internal systems and documentation workflows
