Overview
Peel Health Campus is seeking a dedicated Consultant General Medicine Physician to join our team in Mandurah. This full‐time, fixed‐term twelve‐month appointment (with the possibility of extension) offers a competitive salary of $365,665 - $465,018 p.a. inclusive of base salary and applicable allowances.
Responsibilities
Lead the multidisciplinary team to provide specialist internal medicine services to patients.
Promote and maintain high standards of patient safety and quality of care.
Provide leadership, orientation, training, supervision, and education for doctors in training, Health Service Medical Practitioners and other health workers.
In collaboration with the Head of Department and other Consultants, work to achieve national, state and SMHS performance standards and targets.
Work within the scope of clinical practice as defined and recommended by the SMHS Area Medical Credentialing Committee.
Location and Campus
Peel Health Campus is a general hospital located in the City of Mandurah, 75 km south of Perth, with 206 licensed beds. The campus is situated on the doorstep of the south‐west region known for its beaches, wetlands, and waterways.
