We have an exciting opportunity for a 5+ year Senior Associate to join our growing Corporate Advisory team in Melbourne.
To be successful and thrive in this role you will have the following skills
Approximately 5+ years' post-admission experience in funds management and financial services regulatory law
Solid knowledge of the Corporations Act and the AML/CTF Act
Experience advising financial institutions, fund managers, fintechs, payment service providers and other financial services participants
Exceptional drafting, analytical and communication skills
An innovative and commercial mindset and strong client relationship skills
The ability to work collaboratively while managing matters with a high degree of autonomy

Your role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Associate to join our highly regarded Corporate Advisory team, specialising in Funds Management and Financial Services Regulation.
This is an exceptional prospect to work closely with leading practitioners in the sector and advise clients on a diverse range of complex and strategically important matters. You will play a key role in supporting clients through evolving regulatory requirements while helping them achieve their commercial objectives.
In this position you will be exposed to:
Financial services regulatory advice
Funds establishment, structuring and governance
Australian Financial Services Licence (AFSL) and Australian Credit Licence (ACL) matters
Product disclosure statements and other offer documentation
Investment management and commercial agreements
Corporate transactions involving financial services businesses
AML/CTF regulatory advice and compliance assistance, including AML/CTF program development, independent evaluations,
relief applications and training
Payment system regulation and compliance, including payment facilitation, stored value facilities and other payment products
Digital assets regulation, tokenisation and blockchain advice and product offerings
Your work will include advising a range of clients across the financial services sector, including financial institutions, fund managers, responsible entities, investment businesses, fintechs and payment service providers.
