This is a senior People Partner role for someone who can
think strategically, build what does not yet exist and remain genuinely hands-on with the business.
Reporting to the Head of People & Culture (HR), you will partner with executive and senior leaders in a generalist HR capacity whilst overseeing the Talent Acquisition function. The organisation is navigating
growth, acquisition integration and increasing complexity
, creating an opportunity to shape its next phase.
You will need to move comfortably from advising an executive on organisation design or workforce strategy to personally managing a complex ER matter, landing a performance process or resolving an immediate business issue.
What you will lead:
Partner with executive leaders to understand commercial priorities and shape the people response.
Provide
hands-on advice
across complex ER, performance, remuneration, workforce planning and organisational change.
Build and create practical people solutions
where no established framework exists.
Support the people aspects of
M&A;, integration and business growth.
Shape organisational design, capability, succession, career pathways and leadership priorities for your client groups.
Provide leadership and direction to the Talent Acquisition specialist reporting into the role, aligning recruitment activity with immediate priorities and longer-term workforce needs.
Strengthen systems and ways of working while avoiding unnecessary process or complexity.
Use workforce data, commercial measures and risk insights to guide decisions.

Personally drive implementation, adapting quickly when an approach is not working.
What you will bring:
The ability to move between
strategic thinking and detailed execution
without losing pace.
Evidence of
building, designing and implementing people solutions
and not simply operating established processes.
Experience supporting M&A;, integration, growth or significant organisational transformation will be helpful.
Broad capability across ER, performance, reward, organisational design, talent and workforce planning.
Experience leading or working closely with Talent Acquisition.
Credibility partnering with commercially focused executives and the confidence to challenge constructively.
Experience within technology, financial services, professional services or another complex and highly regulated environment.
Strong commercial judgement and an evidence-led approach to decision-making.
Comfort working through ambiguity, testing ideas and adjusting quickly.
This role will suit someone who
understands what solid practice looks like but does not default to policy, frameworks or process.
You will know how to apply the right level of structure, explain its commercial value and remain accountable for delivery.
The role is based in
Sydney's CBD
, with an expectation of
four days per week in the office
and flexibility to work remotely one day per week.
