Job Advertisement: Electronics Engineer · Company Name: INFINIO R D PTY LTD · Location: ******* Marion Rd, Netley, SA **** · Website: ****************** About Us Infinio R D Pty Ltd (ABN **************) is a specialized Australian technology enterprise and a key operational unit within the Haneco Lighting group.
As an integral part of this prominent Australian-owned LED lighting manufacturer serving the electrical wholesale industry, Infinio serves as the dedicated technology and R D engine for the group.
Over 90% of our operational revenue and engineering workload is generated by projects commissioned directly by Haneco Lighting.
From our high-tech facilities in Netley, we function as a technical powerhouse focused on the research, design, and development of innovative control solutions that form the backbone of Haneco's advanced product offerings.
A core component of our technical portfolio is the development of the "KASTA" smart home range for Haneco Lighting, which provides innovative solutions for home automation and intelligent living.
Our dynamic control solutions enable the full integration of all aspects of lighting, security, access, and HVAC systems for homes, offices, and commercial stores.
All KASTA products are designed and manufactured in Australia to suit the local lifestyle, ensuring they can seamlessly interconnect with third-party devices and platforms to create a complete, high-performance connection space.
As Haneco Lighting continues to experience significant commercial growth, Infinio remains focused on scaling its internal R D capabilities to deliver the enterprise-grade engineering projects required by the group.
Role Summary We are currently seeking a highly skilled and technically versatile Electronics Engineer to join our quick-paced R D team.
In this pivotal role, you will bridge the gap between theoretical micro-circuit layouts and live physical hardware deployments.
You will be instrumental in designing heavy-current multi-channel control relays, complex phase-dimming AC drivers, and robust wireless Bluetooth Mesh communication systems required for large-scale commercial structures.

As a forward-looking Australian business, we are committed to developing our domestic talent pool.
Therefore, the successful candidate will also take on a critical mentorship role, actively training and guiding local engineering graduates and junior technicians to help us build an elite domestic engineering team.
Key Responsibilities · Electronic Component Design Diagnostics: Design, model, and architect complex electronic components, low-voltage micro-circuitry layouts, and high-power-density AC dimming drivers.
Formulate rigorous laboratory bench-testing environments (up to 5,000 continuous cycles under thermal variations) to diagnose signal degradation and verify electrical behavior against firmware synchronization layers before mass production.
· Embedded Software Wireless Network Optimization: Design and optimize embedded firmware for smart switches, control relays, and IoT edge gateways.
Ensure seamless over-the-air (OTA) updates and validate zero-fault data propagation and low latency within proprietary Bluetooth Mesh networks.
· Cross-Platform Architecture System Integration: Develop cross-platform communication architectures and signal processing algorithms to ensure physical and programmatic compatibility.
Engineer software API handshakes connecting automated modules with central building management systems (BMS) to guarantee *****% interoperability uptime.
· On-Site Commissioning Standards Compliance: Supervise the live installation, troubleshooting, and commissioning of control systems within commercial premises.
Monitor performance standards, analyze communications traffic, and mitigate on-site RF interferences to ensure strict compliance with Australian safety standards.
· Team Leadership Mentorship:

Establish a structured knowledge-transfer framework to actively mentor, train, and develop local Australian engineering graduates and junior technicians.
Job Requirements · Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
· Experience: Minimum of 3 years of equivalent full-time, relevant industry experience in electronics engineering.
Specifically, the candidate must demonstrate direct commercial experience in hands-on micro-circuit diagnostics, high-power-density AC dimming driver design, and embedded firmware optimization for wireless IoT communication networks (e.g., Bluetooth Mesh).
General macro-power distribution experience without embedded hardware-software integration capabilities will not be considered.
· Mentorship Skills: Demonstrated ability and willingness to mentor, train, and guide junior engineers and local technical talent in a collaborative R D environment.
· Technical Hybrid Skillset: Must possess a dual-competency in hands-on micro-hardware diagnostics and software/firmware optimization (e.g., wireless Mesh networks).
· Language Skills: Excellent English communication skills are required.
· Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of Australian engineering and safety standards, as well as complex commercial hardware-software integration.
What We Offer · Remuneration: Highly competitive Base Salary of $95,****** AUD per annum plus statutory Superannuation Guarantee contributions.
· Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time position (38.0 hours per week).
· Work Schedule: Standard hours from Monday to Friday (9:00 am to 6:00 pm).
· Leave Entitlements: Comprehensive leave including Annual leave, Personal/Carer's leave, Compassionate leave, and Public Holidays in accordance with the NES.
· Career Growth: A dynamic and innovative R D environment working on cutting-edge smart automation technologies.
How to Apply To apply for this position, please submit your up-to-date Resume/CV and a brief Cover Letter detailing your relevant R D and hardware-software integration experience.
