Due to continued growth, we are seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters with strong mechanical and basic electrical experience for shutdowns, routine maintenance and workshop roles.
Key Responsibilities Strip, repair and rebuild mechanical equipment Attend and respond to breakdowns Perform routine preventative maintenance Fault‐find and diagnose mechanical and basic electrical issues Replace bearings, shafts, motors and other components Complete scheduled maintenance tasks Carry out basic welding (MIG, ARC, TIG – highly regarded) Work with pneumatic and hydraulic systems Skills Experience Minimum 6 years' experience as a Mechanical Fitter (essential) Relevant trade qualification (highly regarded) Experience in heavy industrial environments (advantage)
