19th August, **** AAMG is seeking experienced Tyre Fitters to join our team at Blackwater.
This is an excellent opportunity for experienced mining Tyre Fitters looking for a stable, ongoing role with a reputable mining services company.
Reporting to the Tyre Bay Supervisor, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient maintenance, inspection, removal and installation of tyres on heavy mining equipment.
Key Responsibilities: Remove and fit rims, wheels and tyre assemblies on heavy mining equipment Remove, repair and refit tyres as required Conduct regular tyre pressure inspections, adjustments and reporting Inspect equipment and identify potential non-conformances Initiate corrective actions to prevent equipment and tyre-related issues Identify and record equipment quality issues and contribute to effective solutions Complete all work in accordance with site procedures, safety standards and operational requirements Maintain a strong focus on safety, quality and housekeeping Skills Experience:



Certificate II in Automotive Tyre Servicing – Heavy Vehicle Tyre Fitting (AUR*****) Previous surface mining experience essential Demonstrated experience working with heavy mining equipment Current Australian Driver's Licence Current Coal Board Medical and Standard 11 Current HRWL – Forklift (essential) Strong commitment to safety and following site procedures Ability to work effectively as part of a team What We Offer: 7/7 rotating roster BIBO available from Rockhampton, Yeppoon or Mackay DIDO option available Camp accommodation and meals provided Competitive hourly rates on Weekly pay cycle PPE and uniforms provided Join AAMG If you're an experienced Tyre Fitter looking for your next chance in the mining industry, we'd like to hear from you.
