Our client is a well-established and reputable Australian agribusiness, offering a genuine opportunity to help shape financial and operational decision-making across a large-scale operation.
The Role Reporting directly to the General Manager, you'll be a key member of the site leadership team and provide the financial reporting, commercial insights and advice that support significant business and operational decisions.
You'll manage a small accounting team while working closely with external auditors and leaders across the site.
What You'll Be Doing Developing business plans, forecasts and financial performance measures Analysing manufacturing processes to identify the best financial outcomes Reviewing and negotiating key contracts to minimise costs across the business Completing month-end closing procedures and daily, weekly and monthly reporting Managing,



supervising and developing the Finance Accounting team Liaising with external auditors on quarterly, interim and annual audits Ensuring compliance with tax and statutory reporting requirements About You Postgraduate qualification in Finance, Management or equivalent experience (essential) CA, CPA or equivalent qualification, or currently working towards one (essential) Strong technical accounting and financial reporting skills High level of competency in Excel, word processing and database management Strong commercial acumen and a data-informed approach to decision-making Experience within an agribusiness or manufacturing environment is highly regarded but not essential If you're looking for a senior finance position where you can contribute to site leadership and genuinely influence business performance, we'd like to hear from you.
