Job description Role Opportunity: Join a site-based project team supporting the delivery of civil construction works across operational mining infrastructure.
This role focuses on contractor coordination, QA/QC compliance, construction execution, and project reporting within a rapid-paced resources environment.
Benefits: • 8:6 roster arrangement • 3 month Contract • Diverse civil project exposure Qualifications Skills: • Experience with tailings, bioremediation facilities, access roads, drainage infrastructure and culvert installations • Previous experience working on mine site sustaining capital, NPI or operational projects • Familiarity with HIO / Roy Hill systems, standards and site requirements would be advantageous • Experience using project systems such as Aconex, SAP, INX, MS Project, Excel and document control systems • Strong commercial awareness, including supporting review of contractor claims, variations and progress quantities • Ability to assist with schedule updates, cost forecasting and construction reporting Duties Responsibilities: • Supporting construction planning, staging and execution of civil works • Reviewing drawings, specifications, scopes of work, ITPs and contractor documentation • Providing technical support to supervisors and contractors in the field • Monitoring contractor progress, productivity, quality and compliance with project requirements • Coordinating RFIs, technical queries,



design clarifications and site instructions • Supporting management of QA/QC records, MDRs, test results, survey records and handover documentation • Reviewing contractor claims, quantities and progress against scope • Supporting cost, schedule and risk management activities • Assisting with contractor coordination, daily planning and interface management • Participating in site inspections, field leadership activities and safety interactions • Ensuring works are completed in accordance with HIO standards, specifications, drawings and approved work packs • Supporting close-out of defects, punch list items and project handover requirements About Our Client Our client is a major owner-operator in the Western Australian resources sector, delivering a diverse portfolio of sustaining capital and operational improvement projects.
