Organiser/Bargaining Campaign Officer, Organising Private Hospitals and Aged Care 12 Months Temporary Full-Time, Based in Waterloo Base salary starting from $137,****** per annum + super Advantages: 5 weeks annual leave + paid annual office closure 12 RDOs per year (full-time only) Onsite parking and hybrid working Fitness Passport - discounted access to gyms and pools for you and your family Voluntary super contributions matched up to a certain % Salary packaging About the Association: The New South Wales Nurses and Midwives' Association (NSWNMA) is the registered union for all nurses and midwives in NSW.
The Association represents the industrial interests of nurses and midwives employed in NSW in the public, private, aged care and primary healthcare sectors.
Our role is to protect the interests of nurses, midwives and the nursing and midwifery professions.

About the Role: As an Organiser/Bargaining Campaign Officer, you will play a central role in growing the union and building collective power across private hospitals and aged care workplaces.
Working within the Organising Private Hospitals and Aged Care Team, you will support the development of sustainable union structures within and across sites, employers and sectors.
Your work will directly contribute to achieving the NSWNMA Strategic Plan objectives through organising, campaigning, member mobilisation, and workplace leadership development.
You will support members to build and exercise power to change their lives and their workplaces for the better.
In this role you will: Increase membership density in allocated workplaces Identify, develop, and support Member Leaders Build and strengthen workplace branches and distributed leadership groups Map workplaces and employers and develop formal organising plans aligned with strategic priorities Mobilise members to take collective action and achieve campaign outcomes Model values aligned behaviour and contribute to systematic organising practices How to apply for this position: To apply for the position click apply now from our Careers page.
