Product Designer - Sydney, NSW — Full-Time Hybrid If you enjoy shaping products from concept to shelf, working with trends, colour, materials, finishes, and product graphics, and collaborating with suppliers to bring commercially relevant designs to life, this role is for you.
In this role, you'll work across a portfolio of in-house and licensed brands, contributing to product design, CMF, and product graphics across sport, wellness, fitness, and leisure categories.
About the Role - You'll work across physical product design, CMF, product graphics, and structural packaging.
This hands-on and collaborative role is ideal for a designer who can manage projects independently while continuing to grow toward senior-level ownership.
We are looking for someone who brings strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects against critical path deadlines.
The ideal candidate communicates clearly, works well both independently and collaboratively, and brings a quality-driven, customer-first mindset with a passion for sport, wellness, fitness, and leisure.
What You'll Do - Design product concepts, sketches, and specifications aligned with category goals Develop colour, material, and finishing directions that enhance product appeal, durability, and brand consistency.
Create product graphics, including icons, surface graphics, patterning, and functional markings that support usability and brand identity.
Support structural packaging development by contributing to forms, materials, and dielines in collaboration with senior designers, packaging engineers, and suppliers.




Conduct trend research and competitive audits to inform design direction.
Prepare production-ready specifications and collaborate with suppliers on materials, CMF feasibility, finishing techniques, and packaging construction.
Review product samples, CMF swatches, and structural packaging prototypes, providing clear and actionable feedback.
Partner with sourcing, merchandising, marketing, quality, compliance, product, and brand teams to deliver retail-ready, protected, and standards-aligned products.
Support sustainability initiatives through thoughtful material choices for both product and packaging.
What You Bring - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Product Design, Industrial Design, or a related field.
4–5 years of experience in Product Design, Industrial Design, CMF Design, or a similar discipline.
A strong portfolio showcasing product concepts, CMF work, product graphics, and contributions to structural packaging.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud.
Proficiency in 3D design tools, such as SolidWorks or Rhino, is required to support product development and technical design when needed, although 3D work will not be part of the role's day-to-day responsibilities.
Experience working with suppliers or manufacturing partners.
Solid understanding of brand systems, visual design, and production processes.
Strong communication skills and confidence working cross-functionally.
