About the role Council is seeking a Venues Administration Bookings Officer to join our Visitor Experience Events team.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the successful administration and operation of community, tourism and event spaces across Ku-ring-gai.
Your duties will include, but are not limited to: Manage venue bookings from enquiry to completion, including seasonal, casual, community, Council and filming bookings Deliver excellent customer service, building positive relationships with hirers and responding to enquiries by phone, email and correspondence Coordinate booking administration, including forms, risk documentation, invoicing, bonds, pre-payments and accurate record keeping Work closely with venue and operational teams to ensure facilities, equipment and spaces are prepared and presented to a high standard Support events, programs and promotions, including event administration, Wild Birthday bookings, social media, webpages and electronic communications Monitor and report on venue operations, preparing booking, usage,



income and customer satisfaction reports and identifying opportunities to maximise venue use Qualifications, Skills Experience We're looking for someone who: Has experience in administration, venue bookings, account management or a related field, supported by relevant qualifications or experience Holds a current Class C Driver's Licence Has a strong customer service focus and enjoys working with a diverse range of hirers, customers and stakeholders Is highly organised, able to manage competing priorities, work independently and meet deadlines Has strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across venues, teams and Council departments Is confident with technology and administration systems, including Microsoft Office, with experience or the ability to learn booking, records, web and social media systems Benefits 21 hour working week Prospect to purchase up to 2 weeks additional annual leave per calendar year Access to a wide range of development and training opportunities Supportive, collaborative and values-driven team culture Access to Fitness Passport Annual Health Fitness reimbursement of up to $100 (subject to eligibility) Novated Lease options available for private use vehicles Free onsite parking Free confidential Employee Assistance Program Convenient Ku-ring-gai location with beautiful natural surroundings For more information on the perks offered at Ku-ring-gai Council, please refer to our website click here.
