About the Role We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Platform Lead to take ownership of the Salesforce platform, driving its strategy, architecture, governance and ongoing optimisation.
This is a hands-on and strategic role where you will act as the Salesforce subject matter expert, ensuring the platform is secure, scalable, reliable and aligned with business objectives.
Working closely with senior stakeholders, technology teams, product owners, business analysts and external partners, you will identify opportunities for automation, process improvement and digital transformation.
Key Responsibilities Own the Salesforce platform strategy, roadmap and architecture.
Lead Salesforce governance, security, administration and platform optimisation.
Design and implement scalable Salesforce solutions aligned to business needs.
Manage Salesforce configuration, automation, workflows, users and access controls.
Oversee integrations, APIs, middleware and third-party applications.
Lead data governance, data quality and Salesforce reporting initiatives.
Manage releases, deployments, upgrades and environment strategies.
Lead Salesforce projects from solution design through to implementation.
Translate business requirements into practical technical solutions.
Partner with stakeholders and vendors to deliver continuous improvement.
Support Agile delivery, testing, training and change management.
About You You will be an experienced Salesforce professional with the ability to operate across both strategic architecture and hands-on platform management.
Ideally, you will have:



Extensive Salesforce architecture, platform management or senior administration experience.
Experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale Salesforce solutions.
Strong knowledge of Salesforce configuration, security, automation and governance.
Experience with Salesforce integrations, APIs and third-party applications.
Exposure to multiple Salesforce Clouds, such as Sales, Service, Experience, Marketing or Financial Services Cloud.
Strong understanding of CRM strategy, data governance and business process improvement.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
The ability to work autonomously, manage multiple priorities and take ownership of outcomes.
Qualifications Certifications Relevant tertiary qualifications in IT, Computer Science, Business Information Systems or a related discipline are desirable.
Salesforce certifications, including Salesforce Administrator, Application Architect, System Architect or Certified Technical Architect, will be highly regarded.
