They are seeking an experienced Aboriginal Cultural Advisor to join the senior leadership team within Mental Health Services in Central Australia.
This is a rare opportunity to bring cultural knowledge, professional experience and Aboriginal leadership into senior-level discussions about mental health services.
The successful applicant will provide strategic cultural advice on mental health matters affecting Aboriginal people and professional leadership to Aboriginal Mental Health Workers across the Central Australia Region.
About the opportunity Central Australia Mental Health Services delivers public mental health care through specialist multidisciplinary teams based in Alice Springs and Tennant Creek.
As the Aboriginal Cultural Advisor, you will: Provide senior strategic advice about mental health matters affecting Aboriginal people.
Bring Aboriginal perspectives and cultural knowledge into service planning and decision-making.
Provide professional leadership and guidance to Aboriginal Mental Health Workers.
Work collaboratively as a member of the senior leadership team.
Support stronger connections between cultural knowledge, clinical practice and service delivery.
Contribute to mental health services that respect the identities,
strengths and circumstances of Aboriginal people across Central Australia.

Salary and benefits They offer: A remuneration package from $121,018 to $134,714.
A base salary from $102,505 to $114,282.
Six weeks of recreational leave each year.
