Payroll Systems SME role within a major systems transformation Focus on payroll integrations, configuration and systems change 18-month fixed-term contract An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Payroll Systems Specialist to join a major business transformation program.
Working across Payroll, Finance, HR, IT and project teams, you will act as the Payroll Systems SME, providing functional expertise as recent systems, integrations and enhancements are introduced.
This is not a BAU payroll processing role or a system implementation.
The focus is on understanding how system changes impact payroll systems, processes and the broader business.
Key Responsibilities Act as the functional SME for payroll systems Support payroll system integrations, configuration and reporting Assess the payroll impact of system and process changes Support testing, enhancements and implementation activities Troubleshoot complex payroll system and integration issues Partner with Payroll, Finance, HR, IT and project stakeholders Maintain payroll accuracy, data integrity and compliance throughout system changes About You To be successful in this role,



you will ideally have: Extensive hands-on payroll systems experience (Aurion or similar advantageous) Robust payroll systems capability, ideally as a systems super-user or SME Experience across payroll integrations, configuration and reporting Exposure to HRIS/payroll transformation or systems projects Strong understanding of payroll processes and downstream system impacts Strong stakeholder engagement and problem-solving skills Previous Aurion implementation experience is not essential.
Strong payroll systems knowledge and the ability to apply that expertise within a transformation environment are the priority.
