Full-time or part-time opportunity based in Lyneham, ACT $*****-$***** per hour, plus superannuation and salary packaging Support young people experiencing or at risk of early psychosis within a multidi About the Role As a Level 2 Clinician, you will work as part of a multidisciplinary team supporting young people aged ***** who are experiencing a first episode of psychosis or are at ultra-high risk of developing psychosis.
You will provide comprehensive assessment, clinical case management and evidence-based interventions from intake through to recovery.
Working collaboratively with young people, families, carers and other service providers, you will help deliver coordinated, developmentally appropriate care that supports each young person's mental health, wellbeing and functional recovery.
What You'll Do Participate in intake, triage and clinical assessments for young people referred to the service Complete biopsychosocial assessments, mental state examinations, risk assessments, case formulations and treatment plans Manage a caseload of young people from intake and assessment through to intervention and recovery Deliver evidence-based psychological and psychosocial interventions to individuals and groups Provide psychoeducation and support to young people, families and carers Deliver assertive outreach to support engagement with young people and their families Work closely with medical staff, peer workers and allied health professionals Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, clinical reviews and supervision Coordinate care with referrers, families, carers and community-based services Manage complex and critical presentations in consultation with senior clinicians, the Team Leader and medical team Participate in a rotating on-call roster to respond to crisis calls and make clinically informed decisions Maintain accurate clinical records,



outcomes data and reporting in line with organisational and legislative requirements About the Organisation You'll be joining a national not-for-profit known for its commitment to youth wellbeing, early intervention and evidence-based care.
The Early Psychosis Youth Service supports young people experiencing a first episode of psychosis or showing early signs that they may be at increased risk.
The service is based on the Orygen EPPIC model and provides integrated support to young people and their families.
Clinicians are supported through structured supervision, reflective practice, multidisciplinary collaboration and ongoing professional development.
About You Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Social Work, Nursing, Occupational Therapy or another relevant discipline Full professional registration or eligibility for membership with AHPRA or AASW Demonstrated experience completing mental health and risk assessments and delivering evidence-based interventions Ability to work independently and exercise sound clinical judgement when responding to complex presentations Solid engagement skills and the ability to work collaboratively with young people, families and carers Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team Commitment to culturally safe, trauma-informed and developmentally appropriate care Knowledge of relevant ACT mental health and child safety legislation Current Australian driver's licence Experience in early psychosis, youth mental health or an acute mental health setting is highly regarded Why Apply?
