Bogger Operator
to join the team at the iconic Granny Smith Gold Mine!
The Chance:
Play a key role in the safe and efficient movement of ore and waste to support production and development operations at Granny Smith.
Reporting to the Supervisor Underground Production, this is a hands-on role suited to an operator who takes pride in their work, looks after their equipment, and works well independently and within a tight-knit crew.

What you'll be doing




Operate underground loaders (Remote Boggers/LHDs) safely and efficiently
Load, haul, and dump ore and waste in line with mine plans
Maintain development headings, stockpiles and tipping areas
Complete pre-starts, identify and report hazards, ground conditions and equipment issues
Ensure fitness-for-work on all rostered days and contribute to a strong safety culture
What we're looking for
Proven underground mining experience as a Bogger Operator in both production and development crews
Experienced in underground hard rock mining techniques, including watering, bogging, scaling, and trucking development
Strong safety focus and compliance mindset
Commitment to teamwork, collaboration and strong communication skills
Current manual Driver's Licence
Current Dangerous Goods Security Card and Working at Heights
Able to provide a satisfactory National Polick Clearance
