About the Company
Our client is a growing Brisbane-based engineering and technical services company delivering electrical and control systems projects across manufacturing, industrial refrigeration, fuel terminals, mining and general industry.
Engineers work across the
full project lifecycle — from concept and design through installation and commissioning
, supported by an experienced in-house electrical trades team.
Due to continued growth, they are looking for a
Senior Electrical Engineer
to support the delivery of industrial projects.
About the Role
This is a
hands-on senior engineering role
focused on industrial electrical design, automation integration and site commissioning.
You will act as a technical lead on projects while working closely with technicians and site teams to deliver practical electrical and control solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Lead electrical design activities across industrial projects
Prepare engineering documentation including drawings, schematics and work packs
Ensure designs comply with Australian standards including
AS****
Support integration of PLC and control systems
Participate in site inspections, commissioning and troubleshooting
Coordinate with technicians, electricians and clients during project delivery
Mentor junior engineers and review technical work




Assist with technical scoping, quoting and project planning

About You
6–10+ years experience in
industrial electrical engineering
Solid electrical design capability and documentation experience
Hands-on commissioning or industrial site experience
Familiar with
AS**** and Australian electrical standards
Experience working with technicians and site teams
Exposure to automation or control systems integration
Qualifications
Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical or related discipline)
RPEQ, CPEng, or working toward registration preferred
Valid driver's licence
Full Australian working rights required
Nice to Have
Experience in manufacturing, mining or industrial facilities
Hazardous area exposure
Exposure to PLC or SCADA systems
Some experience with project estimation or scoping
