The Role:
We are working with a well-known organisation located in in South Sydney seeking two immediately available Payroll Officers to join their finance team on a contracting to permanent basis
Key Responsibilities:
Manage end-to-end payroll processing across multiple entities
Process accurate and timely weekly and/or fortnightly payrolls.
Ensure payroll compliance including superannuation, PAYG, and leave entitlements
Perform payroll reconciliations and support month-end activities.
Handle complex payroll issues and act as the primary payroll contact for employees.
Maintain and update employee payroll records and system data to ensure system accuracy.
Respond to payroll queries and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
Assist with payroll audits and general ledger reconciliations.
Support Finance Managers and HR with payroll reporting and ad-hoc requests.
About You:
Hands-on end-to-end payroll experience
Ability to work independently in a standalone payroll role




Robust understanding of Australian payroll legislation
Strong communication
Ability to work across multiple entities
