About the Opportunity
Reporting to the Branch Manager, the
Store Operations Manager - Bendigo
is responsible for the safe, efficient, and effective running of store and warehouse operations. You'll oversee dispatch, receiving, inventory accuracy, team leadership, and customer service across a dynamic wholesale environment with many moving parts.
This is a frontline leadership role where you'll manage supervisors and operational team members, build strong relationships with internal and external partners, and drive operational excellence across the branch.
In this Role
Lead daily store and warehouse operations, ensuring accurate and on‐time dispatch and high DIFOT performance.
Oversee receiving, stock integrity, replenishment, and promotional execution.
Coach, develop, and support supervisors and operational team members.
Drive a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with WHS, COR, Food Safety, and HACCP requirements.
Build positive relationships with customers, suppliers, transport partners, and internal teams.
Support achievement of financial targets,



operational efficiencies, and continuous improvement initiatives.
You're Likely a Match If
Experience in a similar role with excellent knowledge of wholesale / retail, Supermarkets operations within grocery /Confectionery or Hospitality (Supermarkets, Foodservice & Liquor) industry
Ability to lead teams, coach supervisors, and manage performance
Strong understanding of safety compliance (WHS, COR, Food Safety, HACCP)
Excellent communication and relationship‐building skills
Operational knowledge, including warehouse/dispatch processes and WMS systems
Commercial acumen, forecasting and planning capability, and problem‐solving skills
