The Role
National Skin Cancer Centres are seeking a friendly Patient Engagement Coordinator to join our team on a casual basis, working from home as part of our Appointment Centre.
Shifts for this role include Monday, Tuesday and Friday, the hours of 8.00am - 6.00pm, with availability to cover sick and annual leave or additional shifts during busy periods.
This role would be ideal for someone with a medical reception background who is looking for more flexibility in a remote role.
Key responsibilities for this role include:
Follow up and engage with past patients with a view to booking them into one of our centres
Respond to and convert online enquires to bookings within the required timeframe
Manage live chat enquires
Assist our centres with managing changes to their appointment books
Be able to call a high number of patients in a day
Report on the success of your calls
You are:
Friendly with professional telephone manner (essential)




Experience within either the medical industry or a call centre would be highly regarded
Ability to deliver information effectively to a diverse range of customers
Flexible and have the ability to work in a fast paced setting
Self-managed and able to work with minimal supervision
Excellent communication skills
Experienced with Best Practice (not essential, but highly regarded)
Authorised to work in Australia
