Occupational Therapist Grade 2 Rural Allied Health Team

Regional Victoria, AU
Employment Type:
Permanent Full-Time or Part-Time
Salary:
$94,984 - $103,724
++Relocation support:
Intrastate (over 100kms) - up to $2,500, Interstate - up to $5,000, Overseas - up to $8,000
++Accommodation Support:
Up to $350 per week up to 10 weeks; or 10 weeks interim Accommodation (if available)

About the Role
As an Occupational Therapist, you will work autonomously, managing a varied and diverse workload in predominantly home-based settings, with no nursing home work. You'll join a multidisciplinary team including Dietetics, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Podiatry, Social Work, and Speech Pathology,



supported by Allied Health Assistants. A comprehensive orientation program, along with supervision and support opportunities, will ensure your success.
What You'll Do
Deliver person-centred occupational therapy services in home and clinic settings across a regional area
Collaborate with clients, carers, and families to provide practical solutions for independence and safety
Develop goals and care plans to help clients remain active and independent in their community
Complete equipment prescriptions, home modifications, and advise on pressure care management/seating
Develop in-home and community-based therapy programs
Work with a diverse range of clients and health conditions
Participate in student training programs and service development/quality improvement initiatives
Who Were Looking For
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Occupational Therapy or equivalent, with eligibility for membership of a skilled association
Registration:
Current AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist
Skills:
Knowledge of occupational therapy service delivery in home, group, and community settings, including home modifications and prescription of assistive technologies
Advocacy:
Ability to liaise and advocate across health and community care systems
Clearance:




Clear/satisfactory National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Worker Screening or willingness to obtain before commencement
Sponsorship:
Suitably qualified candidates eligible for employer-nominated sponsorship (ANZSCO ******)
