We are seeking a highly motivated
Full Time - Cook
to join our welcoming team providing the highest quality food service for our guests at our Adelaide Domestic Lounges in our brand recent production kitchen launching in mid-July!
Job Description
What is the role?
Our Cooks provide service between our a la carte and buffet environments. All our roles are focused on exciting our guests with flair and enthusiasm and demonstrating a genuine passion for cooking and the kitchen. Reporting directly to the Executive Chef, you will form a key part of a team who are responsible for providing high quality product to our lounge passengers.
Key responsibilities include but not limited to:
Prepare, cook and serve food for the breakfast buffet showing variety and flair




Ensure strict stock rotation and minimum wastage following stock control procedures
Assist the preparation of ingredients, which includes chopping, slicing, dicing, and measuring food products.
Ensure Food Safety protocols are followed
Keep all working areas clean and tidy. Cook is required to wash all dishes during service
Ensure all equipment is maintained, serviced and cleaned. Report any problems to the CDP & Executive Chef
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Cook in a high-volume kitchen
Experience and knowledge working in mass production and large volumes
Strong culinary skills and a passion for delivering exceptional food experiences.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Culinary degree or equivalent an advantage but not essential.
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
