A rare opportunity has arisen for a Graduate/Junior Lawyer or PLT position in our Litigation Department on the Gold Coast.
The Role
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic candidate with exceptional communication and problem-solving skills to join our growing litigation department.
This is an excellent opportunity for a junior lawyer at an early stage in their career, or a PLT student or law graduate who is seeking to transition into a role as a full-time junior lawyer after their PLT placement / admission.
You will have exposure to a wide range of civil law matters, including but not limited to dispute resolution, commercial litigation, employment law, insurance law, contract law, and administrative law.
The role will involve working in a boutique practice on the Gold Coast with a friendly, supportive and collaborative atmosphere, and obtaining immediate real-world experience working directly with clients.
Requisite Experience
This is an entry level position for any of the following candidates:
a PLT student looking for a PLT placement who is then eager to transition into full time work as a Junior Solicitor; OR
a Law Graduate who has recently obtained their Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice (GDLP) who is seeking to be admitted as a solicitor; OR
a Recently Admitted Junior Solicitor with 0-2 years PAE.
Ideal Candidates Should Be:
excellent communicators and problem solvers;
driven to deliver a high level of client service;
very motivated to produce quality work and achieve exceptional results; and
a passion or curiosity for developing skills in dispute resolution, commercial litigation, employment law, insurance law, contract law, and administrative law.
