Position Overview The Registered Nurse Level 1 (Dialysis Nurse) is based in Kununurra on a Full-time basis.
You will play a vital role in delivering culturally safe nursing care to clients with renal health needs.
This position requires managing a client caseload, supervising new staff, and contributing to the continuous quality improvement of services at the Renal Health Centre.
You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care and support to clients and their families.
Key Responsibilities Manage a client caseload and deliver nursing care in accordance with protocols and best practise guidelines.
Supervise and educate new staff, supporting their integration into the team.
Utilise assessment tools to evaluate clients' responses to treatment and adjust care plans as necessary.
Coordinate shifts and ensure safe, effective care delivery in the absence of senior staff.
Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and clinical audits.
Candidate Profile The ideal candidate will be a compassionate and skilled nurse with a commitment to Aboriginal health and community service.
You will possess robust interpersonal and organisational skills, and be able to work effectively within a team environment.
Hold a current nursing certificate and Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency registration.
Have at least 18 months of experience in haemodialysis nursing or be enrolled in a training program.
Demonstrate experience in supervising junior staff and promoting a positive team culture.
Possess a current National Police Clearance or be willing to obtain one.
Salary & Benefits The salary for this position is $110,173 per annum pro rata.
Additional benefits include: Accommodation allowance of $13,000 per annum pro rata Annual airfare allowance of $1,800 after 12 months of service, Relocation reimbursement of up to $5,000 upon providing receipts, Optional salary sacrifice of up to $30,000 per annum pro rata.
