Role DescriptionThis is a remote, contract Occupational Therapist role focused on providing high-quality, individualized therapy services to clients in a virtual setting. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting comprehensive assessments, developing and implementing treatment plans, and monitoring client progress toward functional goals. The Occupational Therapist will collaborate with families, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and provide education on strategies that support independence in daily activities. The role involves maintaining accurate clinical documentation, using telehealth platforms effectively,
and adhering to professional and regulatory standards. The therapist will also provide guidance on adaptive techniques, environmental modifications, and rehabilitation strategies tailored to each client's needs.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Occupational Therapy and Rehabilitation, including assessment, treatment planning, and evidence-based intervention.
Candidates should possess foundational knowledge in Medicine relevant to therapy practice, such as understanding diagnoses, functional impacts, and safety considerations.
Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, including clear documentation, client education, and collaboration with families and other professionals.
Candidates should possess experience or interest in Pediatrics, including working with children and adolescents on developmental and functional goals.
Valid state license or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist; national certification (e.g., NBCOT) preferred.
Experience with telehealth or remote service delivery, and comfort with using digital tools and electronic health records.
Strong organizational skills, ability to manage a contract caseload, and commitment to ethical, client-centered practice.
