By year 3 or 4 you've mostly stopped learning from your own caseload.
Not arrogance, just what happens. The shoulders make sense now, your reasoning is quick, and the referral everyone else pushes away is the one you find engaging.So this ad is about the next bit.
The role
Three days a week to start, your own caseload. Complex musculoskeletal, sports, post-op, persistent pain.
The rest of it is the actual reason I'm advertising. Weekly PD session, mentoring the grads properly, clinical file audits, holding the line on how we treat here. Four hours a week for that, timetabled and paid, written into your contract.
Where this goes
We're young, and the standard isn't set yet.
Which means you'd be writing the assessment protocols and picking the outcome measures instead of arguing with fifteen years of habit. Defining a grad development pathway. You'd build it, quite apart from being more interesting to do.
Our referral base is still opening up. The complex stuff comes to you first, not after four other people have had a look at it.
There's a business side as well if you want it.



Recruitment, referrers, what we measure, which services we add next. Some people find all that tedious and that's fine. But if you've ever thought about running your own place one day, it's the part you can't get from a textbook.
The senior roles above this one haven't been invented yet, either. Whoever takes this job is first in line when they are.
Fair warning though: it's messy some weeks. You'd be building the systems while you're using them.
What I'm after
Unrestricted Ahpra registration, 3/4-plus years out. Someone who likes teaching rather than puts up with it. Comfortable across WorkSafe, TAC, NDIS and Medicare without needing a hand held.
The offer
Permanent part-time to start, three days. We'll sort out which days when we get to an offer, so tell me what works around your life and I'll work with it. Above-award hourly plus commission. Four paid non-clinical hours, in the contract rather than in the goodwill.
