Kent is seeking experienced Boilermakers to support a major industrial construction project in Karratha, WA.
This is a rare opportunity to contribute to one of Australia's most significant process plant developments, supporting the construction, installation, testing and progressive commissioning of a world-scale industrial facility in Karratha, WA.
Essential Requirements
Trade Cert - Boilermaker or Fabrication (Australian recognised)
Working at Heights
Confined Space
HRWL EWP
Demonstrated experience in FCAW and SMAW structural welding
Previous FIFO and/or major construction project experience
Ability to successfully complete SMAW and FCAW 3G and 4G weld testing
Full Australian Working Rights
Role Scope
Structural welding using FCAW and SMAW processes
Working from engineering drawings and fabrication details
Candidates will be required to pass weld testing, SMAW and FCAW 3G and 4G testing.
We use LMATs in Bibra Lake and allow 1-2 days for testing.
