About the role
Port Adelaide Construction is seeking experienced pipe welders to join our dynamic team.
Based in Largs Bay, South Australia, this full-time role will see you playing a crucial part in the construction and maintenance of a variety of piping systems.
What you'll be doing
Performing high-quality pipe welding in accordance with industry standards and project specifications
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and plans to ensure accurate workmanship
Collaborating with the project team to deliver piping installations and repairs within agreed timelines
Adhering to strict health, safety and quality control procedures
Providing guidance and mentoring to junior welders as required
What we're looking for
Proven experience as a pipe welder, ideally within the construction or manufacturing industries
Strong working knowledge of welding techniques, including TIG, MIG and stick welding
Proficiency in all three welding techniques (TIG, MIG, and stick welding) is essential for this role
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
Familiarity with quality control processes and safety protocols
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work




Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Trade qualification in welding is required
