It's a rare chance to step into a senior seat at an established studio, reporting directly to our Director, Greg Bond.
We're a small, close-knit team where everyone's hands-on and every project matters, so we need someone agile, who is equally at home in big-picture design thinking and day-to-day detail.
With at least 5 years' experience and a proven flair for residential design, you're ready to lead projects and grow your career in a studio that values sophisticated design and approachable service.
What we're looking for
Tertiary qualification in architecture
Registered architect, or actively working toward registration
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in an architectural studio environment
A demonstrated flair for residential design - we'll ask to see a portfolio that proves it
Strong proficiency in ArchiCAD (or a quick study of new BIM tools), Enscape, and the Adobe Creative Suite, with the ability to produce high-quality renders that bring a design to life for clients
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills - you're a design collaborator, not a lone voice
Confident articulating and presenting design ideas, including on camera for social media content
A keen eye for detail and a passion for creating innovative, functional, and visually stunning designs
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Ongoing knowledge of local building codes, regulations, compliance requirements, and suppliers

You're across every project milestone, up to date on codes and planning requirements, and known as a "safe pair of hands" who manages risk well.
Commercially savvy.
You keep multiple projects on track, help clients make crucial decisions, and treat deadlines as sacrosanct - switching gears without sacrificing quality or getting lost in perfectionism.
